First Day of School

I am a little late in posting these pictures. The kids started school a couple weeks ago. I can't believe how fast the summer went. Trey is a Sophomore at a brand new High School. Lauren is in 7th grade and Paige is in 3rd grade. The girls were excited about going back. Trey - wasn't. Can you believe he is driving now!! He has his permit and can only drive with his parents in the car. He is a good driver and very cautious. Anyway - enjoy the pictures.

Spring Break (or should I say - Winter break)

Wow! I am terrible at updating. I thought I would post some pictures from our Spring Break. We spent some time up near Stanley. It was freezing cold, but we had a blast. They aren't in the order I want. But as you can see we had an easter egg hunt in the campground. Paige was so excited she took off running and tripped on a rock. She cut her hand pretty good.

Trey and Lauren Ballroom

The last few weeks have been busy with ballroom performances and competitions. We just returned from Salt Lake where Trey had a competition. We had a lot of fun. I spent 11 hours at the event. Wade spent some time at Cabela's since the competition was 2 minutes from there. Trey received a 4th place ribbon and a 3rd place medal for his team routines. Here are some pictures from the performances. Sorry I only have one of Lauren - I will get more of her next time.

Paige's Baptism

I am very bad at updating this blog. I apologize to anyone who has visited lately. Here are some pictures from Paige's baptism. She was baptized on January 2nd. She was so excited. We had a wonderful turnout. We also woke up to a lot of fresh snow that blanketed the trees.

First day of school

Here are the kids on there first day of School. Paige is in 2nd grade, Lauren in 6th, and Trey is a Freshman. They were all excited. Trey not so much as his sisters.

Lauren the Barbarian

Not sure if I should post this or not. While camping over the 4th Lauren discovered how much fun you can have with a BB gun. It started out with pop cans. She hit the can on her first shot. Then it moved onto birds, but I put a stop to that before she killed the Idaho state bird. The mountain bluebirds are everywhere up there. They have even placed bird houses on the posts for them to nest in. One night she came to our trailer with a blue bird in her hand. She opened up one of the houses, reached in and grabbed it.

Anyway, she then decided to hunt prairie dogs. They are actually a problem up there. They have dug holes in roads and caused lots of problems for the campground. Much to her brothers dismay, she harvested two prairie dogs. She spent a lot of time walking around with her BB gun. Who would of thought.

4th of July - camping and fishing at Henry's Lake

We spent 4 days camping at Henry's Lake of the 4th. The kids and I went and fished with Wade for a little bit and hooked around 5 fish. It was fun for all of us except Trey - he lost 3 of those 5 fish right before they got to the boat. Then Lauren hooked one on her own and landed it. His ego was crushed.

This picture is hilarious. Right as I was to take the picture of Lauren's first fish, it flopped out of Wade's hands and back into the water. The look on Wade's face tells it all. Amazingly, Wade grabbed the net and was able to net it right out of the lake. The next picture shows the excitement on Lauren's face. I should of got a picture of Trey who was pouting at the other end of the boat.
